Laksmi Rodríguez de la Sierra Solórzano sinh ngày 19 tháng 9 năm 1985 tại Tachira , Venezuela
Mang trong mình dòng máu lai Ấn hoàn hảo, cộng với vẻ đẹp khỏe khoắn tươi trẻ vùng Nam Mỹ , tất cả đã tạo ra một Laksmi với một sắc đẹp đặc biệt, khó quên và ko bị nhầm lẫn với bất cứ ai.
Năm 2008, cô đại diện bang Monagas tham gia Miss Venezuela, cô cùng với Stefania Fernandez, Maria Milagros Veliz trở thành bộ 3 hoa hậu của Venezuela và có được chiếc vương miện Miss International Venezuela
Miss International Venezuela không phải là người đứng ở vị trí thứ 3, bởi lẽ, ngay năm 2008, Venezuela đã sở hữu đồng đều 5 vương miện như nhau ( 5 MW, 5 MU, 5 MI)

Năm 2009, Laksmi lên đường sang Trung Quốc tranh tài tại MI, dù được hy vọng sẽ nối tiếp chuỗi thành công 3 năm một lần cho Venezuela nhưng cô chỉ ra về với vị trí thứ 5 trong TOP 15 ( 4th R.U)

Tại Miss Grand Slam của GB, Laksmi và Jessica Barboza - MVE là hai đại diện của Vzla duy nhất lọt top 50 trong đó, Laksmi đứng vị trí thứ 28 trong bảng Ranking

Sau cuộc thi, cô vẫn là siêu mẫu sáng giá tại quê hương và vinh dự được Venezuela chọn làm đại diện tại Hoa Hậu Siêu Quốc Gia sắp dc tổ chức vào ngày 28/8/2010 tại Ba Lan

Với Laksmi, dường như Venezuela đang trông đợi một chiến thắng thực sự, chiều cao 1m78 , thân hình bốc lửa, vẻ đẹp đặc biệt và gợi cảm của Laksmi , cùng với trí tuệ của một sinh viên học ngành truyền thông , tất cả đang hứa hẹn một thành công đầu tiên tại đấu trường sắc đẹp đang được chú ý này
