Ungfrú Ísland (Miss Iceland) pageant is back after a year long absence. The pageant has been bought by owners of World Class, Björn Leifsson and Hafdís Jónsdóttir, with former Miss Iceland, Fanney Ingvarsdottir, serving as the new national director. The finale of Ungfrú Ísland 2015 will be held as an impressive fashion show on 5th September at Harpa Concert Hall and Conference Centre in Reykjavik. Applications are now open until 23rd May at www.ungfruisland.is The winner will succeed the reigning Ungfrú Ísland 2013, Tanja Ýr Ástþórsdóttir, and represent Iceland in Miss World 2015.
