Miss Universe 2014 – Updated Leaderboard 1/13 USA is the new leader

With loads of photos and videos made available since the arrival of this year’s Miss Universe contestants, our judges were able to score them all again and some significant changes took place in GB’s ranking! Miss USA, who landed in Miami extraordinarily gorgeous, is the new leader and could easily win a 9th Miss Universe title for her country. However, competition is tough: Miss Colombia has gone from 3rd to 2nd place, while Miss Venezuela fell from 1st to 3rd, but remains strong and certainly will put up a good fight. Miss Spain entered the Top 5, in 4th place, and Miss Australia remains in the 5th position.

Some girls who had not been previously noticed truly made a splash upon arriving in Miami. Jamaica is a good example, going from 28th to 7th place. Austria jumped from 20th to 9th, and Netherlands has gone from 32nd to 13th place. Gabon earned 5 notches and is now in the Top 20, in 16th place.

Miss Philippines, on the other hand, could not live up to her pre-arrival favoritism: she’s down 10 positions, from 13th to 23rd place. Puerto Rico, although very well produced, doesn’t seem to be able to impress the specialized press this year (33rd, down 2 from 31st). Miss China, 15th before arriving, is now 40th.

See who are our judges’ favorites at this point. Surprisingly, none of them has the leader, Miss USA, as #1 favorite. They are very divided in opinions:

“I can’t say who’s going to win…..unless it’s Australia!”, says Peter Sereno, from Australia.
“At this point I believe Miss Universe is Spain“, believes Hector Joaquin, from Puerto Rico.
“My current Miss Universe is India“, by Jean Vandecasteele, from Belgium.
“Miss Venezuela in an elevated league of her own, as was Diana Mendoza in 2008. She would have to not show up to lose“, is what Greg Borowski from USA strongly believes.
“My winner so far is Miss Spain, the more I look at her, the more I like her“, is the opinion of Venezuela’s Julio Rodriguez.
“Miss Argentina could be the next Miss Universe“, Edwin Dominguez says.
“The one to beat this year is Miss Colombia. Fans from around the world are watching her every move. Eye on France as well“, is what Keno Manzur, from Chile, believes.

Nghĩ sao mọe Russia hok zô top 5 zậy chời? Ko khéo bả win như 2009, nhớ năm đó GB cũng khăng khăng xếp Vene năm đó hạng thấp lè tè, cuối cùng người ta win :))

Trang này đánh giá hơi thấp bà Nga. Spain thì sau khi thấy cái hình xăm trên tay bả thì sự yêu thích bị giảm đi một nửa vì biết khó có cơ hội thắng.=.="
Asia thì thích nhất vẻ ngoài của Ấn Độ, Indo cũng có thể gây bất ngờ semi.
Châu Âu năm nay rất kì vọng vào 3 nước k có tên tuổi là Austria, Serbia và Slovak Rep cho các vị trí semi.:)

Châu Âu năm nay nhiều gái đẹp quá. Hi vọng top 16 nhiều cái tên mới mẻ nhưng vẫn xứng đáng. Chứ năm nào cũng có nhiêu đó nước trong top 16 xướng từ năm này đến năm khác ngán gần chết.=.="
Ngực khủng Netherland cũng là một ẩn số.<3
