Hiwot Bekele, Miss Grand International 1st runner up, will represent Ethiopia at the upcoming Miss Universe pageant to be held in Doral, Florida, in January.

She will arrive in the USA in early December for preparation for the competition. The Ethiopian beauty is excited about the opportunity that participating in Miss Universe presents for her country.
She says “I am honored to represent Ethiopia and present the culture and beauty of my country to the world!”.
Bekele made history for her country when achieving Ethiopia’s most expressive Grand Slam result ever, a 2nd place in Miss Grand International 2014, in Thailand. Her country’s best Miss Universe record is a Top 20 quarter-final placement, in 2006.
Miss Universe’s final will happen on January 25th, at Florida International University, Miami, USA.

Đúng là chuyện chỉ có ở nước ngoài thôi chứ bà nào ở VN mà được thành tích này rồi chẳng dại gì đi thi thêm cuộc thi quốc tế nào khác, lỡ may bị trượt thì lại rớt giá.
