Bắt được cá mập ở VN

Giám định sơ bộ cá mập bị bắt, so với vết cắn để lại trên thân của các nạn nhân bị cá dữ tấn công, Phó giám đốc Sở Nông nghiệp Phát triển nông thôn tỉnh Bình Định Phan Trọng Hổ cho rằng, đây không phải là thủ phạm.

Chiều 5/2, con cá mập khổng lồ đã được bán cho một tiểu thương ở Phú Yên với giá 30 triệu đồng. Người này xẻ thịt con cá ra để bán, song cả ngày không tiêu thụ được một miếng nào.

Ông Hổ nhận định: "Căn cứ vào trọng lượng, đặc tính sinh sống và vết cắn của một số trường hợp bị cá cắn vừa qua tại bãi tắm thành phố Quy Nhơn, thì có thể khẳng định con cá mập bị bắt không phải là thủ phạm".

Nhiều lão ngư có kinh nghiệm cũng nhận định, với trọng lượng một tấn, con cá mập có thể nuốt cả một người chứ không có chuyện chỉ cắn tay, chân.

Phó giáo sư Tiến sĩ Võ Sĩ Tuấn, Viện trưởng Hải dương học Nha Trang thì khẳng định, con cá mập bị bắt thuộc loài cá mập đen (nhám đen).

Giữa tháng 1, liên tiếp nhiều trường hợp người tắm biển Quy Nhơn bị một loài cá dữ tấn công bị thương. Viện Hải dương học Nha Trang xác định cá cắn người thuộc bộ cá nhám nhưng chưa có mẫu vật cụ thể để xác định loài. UBND thành phố Quy Nhơn đã treo giải thưởng 10 triệu đồng cho người nào bắt được cá mập, đồng thời chọn một đội ngư dân chuyên săn bắt loài cá này.

Sáng 4/2, cha con ngư dân Nguyễn Trọng ở Phú Yên trên chiếc thuyền nan nhỏ đang thả lưới bắt cá sát bờ thì phát hiện con cá mập khổng lồ đang rẽ sóng hướng vào bờ. Hai cha con quyết định thả lưới bắt cá mập, đồng thời dùng điện thoại gọi các thuyền từ bờ ra tiếp ứng. 10 ngư dân phối hợp với nhau, quần thảo với con cá dữ đến 3 tiếng đồng hồ mới bắt được, đưa vào bờ. Người ta phải dùng cần cẩu mới đưa được cá lên chợ, tìm người để bán. Con cá mập có chiều dài 5m, vòng tròn bụng to đến 3,5m, trọng lượng khoảng một tấn.

I'm quite certain this is a great white shark, not a black shark ( in fact, I'm pretty sure that there is no shark species with that name) ... the size, the black marking on the underside of the pectoral fins, the double rows of flat, razor sharp teeth, and also the ampullea of Lorenzini on the snout are all features of a great white ... The question is what was it doing in Vietnamese water, and if there were any other GW out there that could pose a threat for swimmers /fishermen.

with this size and this look, this has to be a Great White Shark strongly agree with that...

if you can answer this question, you would probably be working in Vietnamese Academy of Science and Technology - Nha Trang Institute of Oceanography.

plus, Great White doesnt attack pple unreasonably and randomly because technically, they are scared by the sound of boats and engines. They attack because they mistake humans for seals and their other preys (this is basic knowledge, everybody who loves ocean should know) as a result, they have confirmed, the bite from those victims are way smaller that these jaws so Im pretty sure the species who attack them could be a Tiger Shark or a Blacktip Reef Shark

Yes in fact I am Vietnamese, but for this kind of topic ( more scientific, per se) I feel more comfortable writing in English.

I did read the news and learn that this is not the culprit of the reported attacks, which by the way was quite obvious. I guess I should have put my last statement this way:

Are there more GWs in Vietnamese water and would this be a threat? So far as I know, GWs do not live/come into warm water like in Vietnam. Is there an underlying reason for finding a GW so far out of its range?

Also, GWs don't attack people on machine boats, but what about, for example, abalone divers, swimmers, and even recreational divers in the area? So far as I know, it's unrealistic to find and catch every GW that comes and bites people. GWs also bite because they are curious, and even if they don't like human flesh, the massive bleeding will kill the victim anyway.

Also, it's a vulnerable species, and it's a pity the Nha Trang Institute of Oceanography did not obtain the carcass of the fish for study.

tự hỏi và tự trả lời rồi..đâu cần ngta giải đáp nữa...níu như chiện bình thường, ở VN có nhìu cá mập thì sẽ ko lên báo thế này đâu...có 1 con cá mập ko có nghĩa là sẽ có nhìu con cá mập khác, có thể con này bị đi lạc, lúc đánh bắt, chính ngư dân cũng xác định con cá có vẻ mệt và yếu mà..vì nếu con cá này ko yếu thì chắc bây giờ mấy ng đó ko còn mạng mà ngồi kể lại chiện này đâu

còn bao nhiêu con cá mập ngoài khơi hã...chắc có khoảng cả trăm, cả ngàn, cả triệu con ngoài đó...chưa từng đc phát hiện ở vùng biển ấm ko có nghĩa là nó ko sống ở vùng biển ấm, bây giờ đã tìm đc thì cũng bắt đầu có những nghiên cứu mới đc rồi

I completely agree that the GW only made headlines because finding it in Vietnam was an extraordinary and unprecedented event, which intrigued me very much and prompted me to make comments on your post.

I did not pose the questions above to seek answers; they are simply the results of my thoughts on this topic, which will continue to entertain my mind for a while. I don't have enough authority on oceanography/marine biology to make any meaningful answer to those questions, and posing them merely meant I am a curious shark enthusiast! I think I will leave the work for the experts.

But in any case, thanks for posting this topic. It's nice to see a change to the plethora of beautiful people presented here. Though, I have to say the GW is a marvel of the ocean, and therefore, a beauty in its own rights.

Got it. Since im a fan of ocean and everything relate to that like fish, reefs, sharks, whales, and especially dolphins. The fact shark was found in Vietnam is no longer a surprise to me cuz we already captured some Dugongs before. In my opinion, there are much more creatures out there like Dolphins, Belugas, Porpoises living in Vietnam sea but never been found. Hope we will see dolphins jumping in Vietnam ocean someday..YAY
