Goddess of 1994 là danh hiệu dành cho Hoa hậu hoàn hảo nhất trong năm 1995.
Đề cử cho giải này là thí sinh từ cuộc thi lớn dành cho nữ năm 1994.

Goddess of 1994 - là 1 trong những dự án "khơi dậy quá khứ" - nhằm hoàn thiện dữ liệu hình ảnh của VNB- MUSEUM .

Vì tính chất của dự án - cuộc bình chọn cho những năm cũ - nên cách thức bình chọn & thời gian được rút ngắn hơn.


Cách thức tham gia:

Vòng 1: Chọn TOP 10.
Mỗi member chọn cho mình duy nhất 1 "gà" là thí sinh bất kỳ ở 1 trong 4 cuộc grand slam 1994 MU MW MI MTQ - PR mỗi thí sinh gồm 5-10 ảnh bao gồm chân dung - dạ hội - áo tắm- Profile ngắn gọn - quốc gia - năm sinh - số đo - nghề nghiệp.

Lưu ý member ko được chọn trùng thí sinh mà member khác đã chọn trước - mỗi member chỉ được đề cử duy nhất 1 thí sinh. Điều kiện đề cử là Beauty Expert Basic Plus trở lên!


TOP 10 - sẽ do BQT chọn.

Vòng 3: Chọn TOP 5 - Final presentation
Những member có "gà" lọt TOP 10 tiếp tục PR "gà" của mình bằng những bài hình ảnh thể hiện thần thái của 1 hoa hậu.

TOP 5 - gồm 5 ứng viên được chọn thông qua votes - BQT có thể thay 2/5=2 ứng viên khác nếu thấy TOP 5 bình chọn bất hợp lý.

Vòng 4: Bình chọn Goddess of 1994

Những member có "gà" lọt TOP 5 Goddess of 1994, PR gà của mình bằng 1 bài viết hoàn thiện nói rõ lý do vì sao Hoa hậu đó xứng đáng danh hiệu Goddess of 1995.

Winner Goddess of 1994- sẽ là thí nằm trong TOP 3 bình chọn của khán giả. Người chiến thắng sẽ do BQT chọn.

Để chọn ra được Goddess of 1994 - 1 phần nhờ sự nhiệt tình để cử và PR của member cho giải này để giúp mọi người & cả BQT có cái nhìn sâu hơn về các ứng viên.

Bởi vậy để khích lệ BQT xin có giải thưởng nhỏ như sau:

1. Member có thí sinh lọt TOP 10 - 200.000 points / 1 "gà"
2. Member có thí sinh lọt TOP 5 - 400.000 points / 1 "gà"
3. Member có thí sinh - 2nd run up - 600.000 points
4. Member có thí sinh - 1st run up - 800.000 points
5. Member có thí sinh - Winner - Goddess of 1994- 1.000.000 points Beauty Expert tăng 1/2 bậc ( chỉ áp dụng với member có beauty expert High trở xuống)

P/s: Nhằm động viên 1 số bạn ko nhanh tay bắt được "gà" tốt. BQT có 1 sự ưu ái đặc biệt dành cho member đề cử muộn nhưng có gà lọt Top.
Top càng sâu points thưởng càng nhiều. Điều này xứng đáng với mắt quan sát tinh tường của các bạn. Dù đề cử muộn nhưng vẫn chọn được gà tốt.

Early life


Born in Anderson, South Carolina, Parker attended the College of Charleston, where she was a sister of Alpha Delta Pi and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She then went on to receive a Masters of Art in Education from The Citadel. After graduating, Parker taught English Literature at North Charleston High School.

Her first television broadcasting job was for WCSC-TV in Charleston, South Carolina, where she was an education reporter and fill-in anchor.^[1]
Pageant participation


After winning Miss South Carolina USA, Parker was crowned Miss USA 1994, becoming the third South Carolinian to be awarded the honor. She continued on to compete in the 1994 Miss Universe Pageant in Manila, Philippines, where she placed among the top 6 finalists^[2] and finished 4th overall.
Communications career


In San Antonio, KABB
TV hired Parker to serve as a weekend anchor and reporter. Parker was
promoted to main anchor in 2000. In February 2003, she became the host
for "Great Day SA", which is San Antonio's top-rated live entertainment
morning show. In January 2005, she moved to Los Angeles to join Frank
Buckley as co-anchor for KTLA's "KTLA Prime News" on weekends. In 2007, Lu began to co-anchor the weekday "KTLA Morning News" at 5:00 A.M and 6:00 A.M. with Cher Calvin. In January, 2008 she became the main weather anchor for KTLA Prime News.
She later returned to anchor the weekend evening news alongside Lynette
Romero when Markina Brown was hired as the new weeknight meteorologist.

Parker has made appearances on "Larry King Live" and E! Entertainment Television. She also supports the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA).
Personal


Parker began a relationship with Antonio Villaraigosa, Mayor of Los Angeles, in March 2009.^[3]
Her employer, KTLA, was reportedly unaware of this fact until May 2009.
Ms. Parker reported several stories on Villaraigosa's political future
before being reassigned, as had Mirthala Salinas, a television reporter
with whom the Mayor had a romantic relationship two years earlier.
Animal advocacy


In 2010 Parker founded the Lu Parker project,^[4]
whose stated mission is to "improve the lives of at-risk youth and
homeless animals through direct service, education, and advocacy."

Lu Parker is a multi-faceted talent. She is a journalist, actress, author,
former Miss USA, and a former teacher. As an Emmy and Genesis Award winning
journalist, you can find her reporting the news in Los
Angeles, California on KTLA. She has co-hosted national shows, and has
interviewed such names as Kanye West, Matt Damon, Eva Longoria,
Arnold Schwarzenegger, Oscar De La Hoya, and Bill Cosby. In November
2008, Lu reported live from the Democratic Headquarters in Los Angeles as
Barack Obama was elected.


In her free time, Lu is an advocate for homeless animals, and serves on
the Board of Trustees at Saint Francis Hospital in Los Angeles. In 2010,
she created Lu Parker Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping homeless animals, and at risk teenagers. Lu was honored with a Genesis Award
from the Humane Society United States. She was recognized for her
outstanding reporting and creative portrayals of animal protection
issues in three stellar segments, including an investigation into Puppy
Mills. She is an avid hiker, and has been a vegetarian for 25 years.
She participates in dozens of charity events annually raising money for
children, animals, and the needy. Lu lives in Los Angeles with her cat
and dog.
