Mexicans can no longer compete in Miss Universe ordered by Donald Trump!
Considered its relationship with Mexico is quite damaged and it is not suitable that you represent them said country still participating in the contest
Mexico.-Paula Shugart, Director of the "Miss Universe" contest, cited to the media at a press conference to announce that Mexican women may no longer participate in the famous contest of beauty from next year.
Shugart revealed that he was the owner of the contest, Donald Trump, who gave the direct order to prohibit Mexican women bids in the event after the outbreak of a fierce controversy by declaring that the majority of Mexicans are rapists, drug addicts and criminals.
"Mr Trump called me yesterday afternoon to inform me of his decision that Mexican women no longer could participate, not because you think that they are less beautiful than the rest of the women in the world, but because it considered its relationship with Mexico is quite damaged and it is not suitable that you represent them said country still participating in the contest." He came to the conclusion that it will be very uncomfortable to see a Mexican representative fighting for being Miss Universe after the statements that gave. I take this opportunity to make clear that Mr Trump doesn't regret anything of what you said", he said.
The Director mentions it seems you unfortunate that media does not return the exact words of Donald and only do an emphasis on "bad" of his speech:
"Mr Trump effectively stated that many Mexicans were criminals, but also emphasized that a few who were good had. "His statements can be seen in different media (including the internet), there may be people realized that he did not condemn all Mexicans, however people are determined to make him look bad", said.
Paula said that Donald decided to break all relations with our country "for peace" to avoid further conflicts:
"He was very happy with the work of Ximena Navarrete and Lupita Jones, the only Mexican who won the contest. Donald laments that his statements have been misinterpreted, but he believes that the majority of Mexicans are also criminals has known several very honest and professional, like Lupita and Ximena. He was very happy with them but prefers to definitively break all kinds of relations with Mexico and therefore decided that there will be no more representatives of that country in Miss Universe, in order to avoid further conflicts,"he said.
