Another inspiring day for me and everyone at the Miss World Competition as we moved into the next event- Beauty with a Purpose.

The Beauty with a Purpose competition is truly the heart and soul of Miss World. Here the contestants create videos of the charity projects they have been working on in their home nations. Charity and helping those less fortunate is a core element of Miss World and something all the contestants are being judged on.

Today, an esteemed panel of judges watched 27 of the shortlisted videos, and I was lucky enough to be able to watch some of the videos during the judging. The projects were elaborate and motivating and ranged in content from building bridges to providing sexual education for women to repairing cleft lips and increasing blood donations. After watching the videos, the women were asked questions by the panel and in some cases, had to further explain or defend aspects of their projects. Many of the girls worked really well under pressure.

One project that really stuck with me was the project by Serbia. She has been coaching a disabled volleyball team in her country and the way she described the impact she has made was both genuine, and transformational. A former volleyball player herself and close friends with a man who lost his leg in a car accident, this project was really close to her heart.

Netherlands explained how she stayed in a cage for nearly 13 hours to raise money for her cause, simulating the women who are trapped each and every day in her country and subject to forced prostitution.

Another day filled with tears, but also filled with the joy of young women who are working to make a change and a difference in this world.

The top 5 Beauty with a Purpose Projects will be announced tomorrow at the Miss World Charity Gala.

Có them đoạn công bố top 5 vào ngày mai chứng tỏ đây có thể là top semi của BWAP rồi đó bạn, năm ngoái có buổi trò chuyện trên truyền hình đó bạn, các cô gái đó đều lọt top BWAP đó. Năm nay không làm rầm rộ thì chỉ cần gặp BGK là đủ rồi
