Miss Puerto Rico: GB's "Best in Gown"
The Miss Earth 2011 Evening Gown competition took place during the last week with 78 candidates (a few had not arrived yet). It happened in a hotel ballroom and was covered by a handful of Filipino pageant-aficionado blogs and local press. Miss Earth facebook page has provided photos of the 78 participating beauties in their gowns, and GB has invited three non-pageant related fashion experts to score them. Their scores were based on elegance, fashion sense, and how beautiful and poised each contestant looked in her gown.
It’s worth mentioning that from an initial count of 93, eight of them were not able to arrive to the contest. They were Uruguay, Mongolia, Lesotho, Bhutan, Zambia, Costa Rica, Moldova, and Albania. The official number for this year is 85.
These scores are not official and have no effect on the actual outcome of the pageant. See if you agree with them:
